Dragonsteel Nexus Epic Event

A convention event at Dragonsteel Nexus, Heroes of the Lost Desolation takes place during one of the many forgotten Voidbringer assaults on Roshar in Brandon Sanderson’s Stormlight Archive series. The last defenders of a world at war retreat to a mountaintop fortress to brace for an oncoming assault, braving recon, rescue missions, and traitors within the walls.


Heroes of the Lost Desolation is an epic event which took place at Dragonsteel Nexus in 2025. 400 players, three possible adventure pathways, 60+ GMs, 10 communications runners, and one global GM all playing one simultaneous and completely interlocked game. Michael designed and wrote the adventure, ensuring that each adventure pathway interacted and affected the others, created the communications and coordination systems, and wrote briefs for the GMs, runners, and global GM.

Mistborn Scenarios

An e-supplement of short adventures set within both eras on Scadrial from Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn series.

Lunar Lament

A festival of the moon, a benighted forest, and an ascent through a ruined tower observatory. Players will discover secrets long buried, make brand new friends and allies, and uncover a deep betrayal which changed the course of the world forever.

Willowmere is a core rulebook and adventure module created with the Quill RPG Toolset. Michael is the writer and designer of the core rules and primary adventure. He co-created the story, along with Morgan Tyrrell.

Seasons Of Willowmere

Willowmere is home to many creatures across eight different regions, each with their own stories to tell. Seasons of Willowmere takes players through a full year of adventure, from a mysterious theft at a regatta in Brackwater Hollow to a clash of the Highland Bison clans in the Luminous Highlands.

The Wilds of Willowmere

The Pirates of Demesne

At the south delta of the land of Altaris lies the feared pirate haven, Demesne. The isle sits, broken from the mainland, between two forked rivers which feed out into the vast ocean expanse. Tavel is hazardous, fraught with sea monsters, a treacherous whirlpool of mysterious origin, and, of course, your fellow pirates.

Pirates of the Caribbean meets One Piece meets Muppet Treasure Island, the Pirates of Demesne is an upcoming TTRPG module book of collected adventures set in the Pathwalker’s world of Behraht. In addition to leading a team of incredible writers, Michael is writing thematic and world content.

Playwright

The True Adventures of Robin Hood

Playwright – Noisy Mime Theatre Company

The True Adventures of Robin Hood is a Brickenden Award Best Comedy winning stage play first performed in London in 2007 at the Spriet Theatre and 2008 at the Wolfe Theatre before being performed at Kings College. Michael took this play from paper to stage, co-writing and directing the first production.
