  • Writing & Editing

    Michael is a multidisciplinary writer and editor, having written published TTRPG content, convention epics for 400 simultaneous players, an award winning play and dozens of hours of LMS materials. He has also been lead writer on several TTRPG projects, and has edited for works both published and pre-publication.

  • Game Design

    An accomplished game designer, Michael has experience in both the TTRPG as well as board and card game space. With 6 published TTRPG works, modules having been performed on Actual Play, and several board games in pre-publication Michael is no stranger to rules design and balance.

  • GM & Voiceover

    With over 20 years of experience collaboratively storytelling with engaged partners and audiences and 10 years of acting and voiceover experience in both the game and L&D arenas, Michael has a breadth of knowledge and skills to bring any character to life, and draw in players and viewers alike.

  • AP Production

    Michael Produces high quality actual-play content out of the Cascadia Tabletop Collective studio in Vancouver BC. As a founding director of the studio, Michael creates both in-house projects and co-production initiatives.

    Through Bookwyrm Games, Michael helps creative brands and individuals produce branded merch, TTRPG and board game materials, dice and accessories, and crowdfunding rewards of all kinds!

Quill TTRPG Toolset

Created and launched in 2025 with a successful BackerKit campaign featuring Willowmere, the Quill TTRPG System is a modular tool designed to allow creators maximum freedom to explore worlds and build the games of their dreams.
